Hi, I’m Rohan Fox

Another photograph of Rohan Fox, pictured with Merry the welsh sheepdog.

I’m a physiotherapist based in South East Staffordshire, with extensive experience working with patients in their own homes, nursing homes and hospitals. My clinical experience, together with my qualifications, means that my practice is informed by up-to-date evidence, underpinned by high quality assessment and delivered in a way that puts patients at the centre of their care.

Experience

Since 2019 I have worked primarily with older adults, those with weakness following hospital admission, orthopaedic patients, and people with complex/long-term disability (e.g., multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s). My work has been within both hospital and community settings, at all stages of patients’ journeys. I’ve also taught clinical skills at Masters level at Keele University.

Memberships

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, and a member of AGILE, a special interest group for physiotherapists who work with older people. I am registered to practise in the UK with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Education

I hold a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from Keele University, and since then I have continued my education, earning a post-graduate certificate in Health Research in 2023 (University of Stirling) and completing an additional module in Advanced Health Assessment in 2024 (Keele University). I have also completed qualifications in coaching (including for executive functioning) that further support my clinical practice.

More about me…

I grew in up in Wales, and prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist I worked with horses. I now live in Lichfield with my partner and our dog, Merry (pictured). Away from my busy career, I enjoy running, photography and spending time outdoors (preferably in remote locations!)
